Driven by lived experience and a deep passion for maternal wellness, Gilbryonna founded THE NU YOU INC. to create a space where moms could grow, heal, and thrive without sacrificing themselves in the process. As a community leader and champion for motherhood, she built this nonprofit to walk with women through life’s transitions—offering real resources, real sisterhood, and the reminder that their evolution matters too. Her vision is rooted in one truth: every mom deserves the chance to become the Nu version of herself.

As a seasoned financial planner and the Director of Programming and Partnerships at the Maryland Innovation Center, Justin combines numbers and nuance to ensure our mission is backed by sustainable, smart stewardship. His commitment to economic empowerment and innovation helps guide our vision with clarity and care.

Barbara Washington, Board Member

With over 14 years of experience working closely with parents and a strong foundation in early childhood care, Barbara Washington brings both expertise and heart to THE NU YOU INC. As Director of Support Services at Nü Momish, she leads with compassion, ensuring moms receive the guidance and resources they need. Her deep understanding of motherhood and community makes her an invaluable voice on our board.
